FARA ASA, the leading supplier of IT solutions to the public transport sector in the Nordic countries, has signed an order with an existing customer; Oppland county, Norway.

The total order value is NOK 2,3 million excluding VAT, and is for the supply of both hardware and software to implement a RTI solution for bus stops. This new functionality will complement FARA's ticketing solution that was delivered in 2007/2008. This is an important project for FARA, considering that this is the first RTI project in Norway where the FARA Ticketing and FARA RTI are combined.

In addition FARA will increase recurring revenue related to service and maintenance.

The order will be delivered during Q4 2010.
